Haha! I have this as the lock screen on my phone. If I see this and I’m not sewing, I feel guilty!
Chris Hemsworth looks delicious in this photo.

This set of fabrics is SO adorable! I originally saw this fabric in the Zakka Style Sew Along Flickr group and I just had to have it!
Chevrons by Riley Blake Designs
I know chevrons are almost passe, but I still love them! This fabric is amazing!

Ohh I’m in love! This is a thick cotton/linen fabric and the designs on it are slightly retro and all the way awesome! A wonderful girl at Whipstitch Fabrics recommended it for a quilt I was planning. I’ll give a sneak peek of that quilt soon enough!
Project 7 is the Raincloud Mug Rug. When I first saw this project in the book, I was excited. I’ve wanted to try my hand at a mug rug as a way to practice binding without having a HUGE quilt. My only problem was that the original design of it wasn’t something that I would create.
I used felt for my rain clouds and tried out a blanket stitch (for the first time!) to affix them. I think it turned out well. I think I’ll try this project again but practicing quilt blocks!
Project 6 in Zakka Style are these itty bitty quilt block magnets. The premise was to take a quilt block pattern and miniaturize it down to a 2 inch by 2 inch block. Gosh were these a bitch to make. I don’t know if I’d remake these… maybe if someone begged me. There were all these super tiny squares to cut out. Son of a bitch, I hate precision cutting fabric. The actual piecing wasn’t too bad and they turned out pretty cute.
The good thing about creating them was at least I now understand how to make the different types of quilt blocks. Silver lining, people. Silver lining.
